Summer Dreams
my favorite time of year = summer
We spend our summers up north on a lake just outside of Mike's hometown of Calgary. The days are long and hot, and the nights are cool. We pontoon and have bonfires by the lake. It's so dreamy.
To kick off our trip back, here's a look at some photos I took of my cousin Lauren at our lake house last August. We managed to squeeze this photo session in just a few hours before her flight home to North Carolina. I'm excited summer is finally here and for all the beautiful days ahead, and all the new memories to be made. :))
PS the blue neoprene one piece Lauren is wearing is mine, and it's a dynamite swimsuit if you're in need of something cute and functional for a day of outdoor activities. Basically it's mom approved - stays in place while chasing a two yer old around. The white rashguard top that goes with it is awesome too if you don't want as much sun on your arms/chest, and to doubly make sure boobs stay in place. Mike said it looks ridiculous with it on, but whatever Mike, you don't have to worry about keeping boobs in a swimsuit.
